Caroline has worked with teenagers for almost 30 years and has an extensive background in education, both as a teacher and instructional coach. She earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College and her College Counseling Certificate from UCLA. She has unique insight into how students learn, grow, and feel successful.

As a trained writing instructor, she coaches students through the writing process, equipping them with the skills to craft authentic, meaningful essays. Caroline forms warm relationships with students, fostering a sense of belonging and celebrating the individual. Caroline guides students to find a college environment where they will thrive.

Caroline grew up in Berkeley, CA, and moved to Portland for graduate school. As a mother of two teenagers, she understands how busy and complicated this phase of life can be.

Caroline values strong organizational skills and maintains open communication with families. She creates a calm, structured, and encouraging environment. Her student-centered approach helps teens develop a sense of self, boost confidence, and navigate the college admissions process calmly.

Caroline loves to run, ski, cook, and grow produce in her eighteen raised garden beds. She can also be found exploring the beautiful Northwest with her family.
